Rolfing Structural Integration
If you are experiencing chronic pain and stiffness, recovering from
trauma or postural imbalance or feeling like you are functioning below
your potential. If you have tried every other modality and nothing
seemed to stick. If you are interested in long-term changes to the
way you feel and move, then Rolfing is for you.
Rolfing is a gentle and intellegent modality. It is delivered in a series
of 8-12 sessions spaced one or two weeks apart. Through hands-on work,
interesting movement and perceptive exercises and self care to use at
home, this treatment program fascilitates not only a decrease in pain and
stiffness but also improved sence of self, graceful movement and a
generally happier body.
Manual Therapy
If you have acute neck, shoulder or back pain. You need some
attention to your body after a too much time at the computer,
in the garden, after a sporting activity or a long plane flight.
You want to feel looser and deeply relaxed. Manual Therapy is
like massage but more effective because it treats more than
just the muscles. Joint position, postural alignment and
appropriate muscular tone are all considered in Manual Therapy
sessions.

Reestabilishing core stability, slowing down, posture-at-work and self care are central to her treatment program. She warmly welcomes new clients to her practice.
In 2009 Meran began teaching Anatomy in Movement and Embodying Movement Classes at her clinic in Kensington. In these classes she emparts her passion for lived anatomy and moving from a centred, connected core. Wellbeing and education go hand in hand. Empowering people in their connection to their body is central to Meran's approach in both her teaching and private practice.
In 2010 Meran studied with movement legends Hubert Godard and Susan Harper. Their work with perception and expression in movement have greatly influenced her style. Her Rolfing SI sessions and Movement classes are benefited by the use of perceptive and movement pieces that help people to fully engage with self, ground, space and expression.
